Daniel Adenitan has been an art enthusiast all his life but started painting professionally in 2019. Born in Nigeria, Adenitan graduated from The University of Lagos with a B.A in creative arts. Adenitan’s style focuses on black figures with vibrant patterned colors in their everyday motion with a twist of fantasy. The blend of oil and acrylic paints in his flat technique have become his signature.
Adenitan’s works are influenced by events happening around him and personal experiences. He enjoys creating with music and a surplus of natural light. A principal theme in the young artist’s subject matter is the depiction of black (color) originality and fashion styles to emphasize a feel of context for each piece. He is currently focusing on more work in this series as he expands his collector base in the States and worldwide.
