As a VIP Partnering hotel during Frieze Art Fair 2015, The Surrey has joined hands with Voltz Clarke and ArtMuse to present REVEALED: FACES OF OUR TIME. This exhibit includes ten portraits by artist Mark Boomershine that will be on view throughout The Surrey’s main floor and VIP Penthouse where the artist will be hosting a series of lecture, breakfast, and an evening cocktail celebration.

From Eddie Redmayne to the singer Taylor Swift, to the iconic star of classic ballet Wendy Whelan, these are the faces that define our culture today. Their beauty and talent turn heads and make hearts beat faster. These cultural influencers are online explosion attracting millions to watch their films and see their performances. When their portraits confront us, we suddenly enter into their space; perhaps even understand their humanity on a different level. American painter has created ten portraits of these celebrities that reflect their enduring fascination.
