Los Angeles California April, 2013 – Max Mara and Contemporary art consultant Blair Voltz Clarke present the works of London-based painter Natasha Law in Los Angeles with an inaugural exhibition, INSIDE OUT. The private opening, which will take place at Max Mara’s Rodeo Drive boutique in early April will be Law’s first showing on the West Coast. The exhibition will then be available for public viewing through early summer.
Camberwell College of Art graduate, Natasha Law is best known for her painting and line drawings of women, which lie on the boundaries between art and fashion. Her illustrations evolve from simple line drawings in pen, with color and detail added as layers, producing her own distinctive style. Inspired by the female form, the upcoming exhibition INSIDE OUT explores the concepts of dressing and undressing—the allure of partial nudity. Law’s circle includes the most fashionable of London and New York collectors. Max Mara and Voltz Clarke are pleased to introduce the artist to the Los Angeles market with INSIDE OUT.
