Alexander Vethers is a painter, photographer and poet whose highly aesthetic work seeks to explore our relationship to the universal principles of harmony, balance and perfection. Vethers’s paintings and photography have been exhibited in galleries, museums and public spaces in New York, Milan, Paris and Berlin, and are represented in private and major corporate U.S. and international collections, including the Dow Jones Collection, the Davis, Polk and Wardwell Collection, Shell Oil Collection and the Benchiser Collection. As a creative consultant to Giorgio Armani, Calvin Klein and Dolce & Gabbana, he has designed groundbreaking concepts for fashion shows and installations.

For his first photography exhibition, Nevil Dwek has captured a sense of “film” through his lens. Having been a filmmaker for over ten years, Dwek’s experience as a director gives him a unique perspective on still photography. The artist often layers his pictures with images in a subtle way that feels like a dissolve between scenes in a movie.

As part of its ongoing support of the decorative arts, Alexico Group, the developer of 165 Charles Street by Richard Meier, is pleased to present a variety of exhibitions in the building during the course of the year. Voltz Clarke‘s mission is focused on building exposure for international contemporary artists through private consultation and public exhibition. Maintaining a roster of 10 to 12 artists, the company’s founder, Blair Clarke, works directly with all of her artists. Her goal is to exhibit their works to the largest possible audience, including online, in her private midtown salon and in galleries for the greater public.
