[ultimate_heading main_heading=”Yiorgos Kordakis” heading_tag=”h3″ alignment=”left”][/ultimate_heading]

Greek born Yiorgos Kordakis currently lives in Athens with his family. Kordakis is best known for perfecting a large format Polaroid photography method with Inkjet technology and fine art archival paper.  His signature Global Summer series has captured viewers across the US and Europe who are fascinated with his images of blurred figures and structures creating complex abstract patterns.

Kordakis is a multidisciplinary creative whose career easily breezes between commercial assignments that require a strong artistic mind frame and his personal art projects that draw from a restlessness that continuously cultivates his craft. Kordakis’ prolific practice spans from art, photography, video and artistic direction to storytelling and publishing. Overall, his observational method is identical to that of an art curator. Kordakis builds aesthetic worlds while telling their tale at the same time as standing on the viewpoint of both the maker and the observer.
