Field Kallop, a New York native, graduated from the Art History Advanced Studies Program at La Sorbonne in Paris, then completed her Bachelor of Art degree from Princeton University. She received her Master in Fine Art from Rhode Island School of Design in 2011. Kallop’s recent paintings are an exploration of geometry, dimensionality, color, and pattern. This series reveals the artist’s long-standing interest in math and science, as well as her affection for a wide variety of artistic traditions such as tantra drawing, textile practices and modern painting. Voltz Clarke Gallery held Kallop’s first solo which took place on the 8th of May 2019 in New York City.
